The world is literally and metaphorically on fire. A question I often get is, “What’s therapy going to do for me?” While therapy isn’t going to magically change the systemic and global issues impacting your physical and mental health, it can be a place to:

  • Develop a stronger sense of self

  • Improve relationship skills

With everything that is happening in the world–the uncertainty of our times, the conflict that divides friends and family–we’ve still got to go to work or school, parent or care-give for a parent, manage relationships, and find time to breathe and experience joy. Balancing all of these factors with your own mental health, your own goals, your own dreams is what our work together can do.
